Nilos

Nilos is a global payment infrastructure providing multi-currency accounts with an efficient FX solution tailored for B2B merchants. They facilitate cross-border transfers between Europe and Africa/LATAM using stablecoins. One of their main goals is to increase the velocity of capital and decrease the associated cost with capital movement by using the speed and global liquidity of stablecoins to enable cheap and fast payments, especially in exotic corridors (EU ↔ Africa/LATAM).

River

River is an in-person event and social platform that helps brands organize community events at scale, turning online audiences into real-life (IRL) communities.

Solana

Solana is a high-performance blockchain platform known for its scalability, low transaction fees, and rapid transaction speed, processing up to 65,000 transactions per second. It has quickly become a leader in the blockchain space with respect to smart contracts with quickly growing ecosystems of applications and developers, second only to Ethereum.

Tlon

Tlon transitioned from a R&D to a product-focused company in 2023, leveraging over a decade of development on the Urbit network. They are now aiming to bring Urbit to market through a decentralized superapp for the West, offering unique advantages like local data storage, composable apps, and no third-party devops.

Damien is Partner at Blockwall and Managing Director of Blockwall France leading the early stage investment team. Out of deep passion for tech, Damien has previously been involved in the entrepreneurial ecosystem both as an operator at companies like Rocket Internet as well as a founder of venture backed companies. When not investing, Damien can be seen enjoying and tasting great wine in the south of France.

Max cares deeply about the ownership aspect of crypto, which takes away some control and agency from large centralized players and brings it back to the individual. He is part of the investment team at Blockwall since 2018 and is still as passionate about the future of crypto as on day one. Max holds a B.Sc. in General Management from EBS University. Outside of work you’ll most likely find him reading books or cycling.

Rajeevan is an Investment Manager at Blockwall and joined Blockwall in 2018. A Bitcoin contrarian and Web3 pragmatist, Rajeevan likes to invest in fundamentally sound businesses and infrastructure. He holds an Integrated Master’s in History with minors in Political Science and Economics, and an M.Sc. in Management from EBS Business School. In his free time, Rajeevan likes to play games, read, or watch football.

Syed holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering and an MSc in Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. He is the go-to person at Blockwall for tech-heavy deals and also leads Blockwall's AI and data-driven investments platform. In his spare time, Syed enjoys exploring Bavarian lakes, reading mostly non-fiction books, and playing padel.

Syed Armani

Investment Manager

Leonard went down the crypto rabbit hole in 2017, taking a hands-on approach with a particular passion for DeFi and dApps. He’s convinced that DeFi represents a fairer and better future for finance. He holds a Master’s in Finance from Northumbria University. Apart from Web3, Leonard is dedicated to longevity — striking a balance between health and wealth, much like optimizing a portfolio for the long term.
